Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of GradAdd, a platform for graduate research hiring workflows, opportunity discovery, applicant management, and related services. By creating an account or using GradAdd, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and eligibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Professors may be asked to use an institutional email address or complete verification before using certain features.

No hiring decision guarantee

GradAdd provides workflow tools, fit summaries, document tracking, and screening support. The platform does not make admissions, employment, funding, or hiring decisions. Professors, institutions, and authorized reviewers remain responsible for all decisions, compliance obligations, and communications with candidates.

User content and license

You keep ownership of content you submit, such as profiles, openings, CVs, documents, messages, notes, and support requests. You grant the operator of GradAdd a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, analyze, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, improve, market, and develop the service and related business offerings, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not use GradAdd to submit unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, infringing, harmful, or abusive content; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with the service; or misuse another person's data. We may suspend or remove accounts, content, or access when we believe these terms are violated or risk is created for users or the service.

AI and screening support

Some features may use language models or automated processing to extract information, summarize materials, or produce fit summaries. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by a human before being relied on. You are responsible for ensuring that use of these features is lawful, fair, and appropriate for your context.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

GradAdd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error- free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of GradAdd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of GradAdd after updates means you accept the revised terms.
